Welcome to True Critique Club. These Terms of Use and Participation (‘Terms’) govern your interaction with the True Critique Club community and platform, including:
- Your registration as a member of the True Critique Club Community.
- Your use of the True Critique Club online platform at www.truecritiqueclub.com, its sub-pages, information, applications, and services (collectively, the ‘Services’).
- Your request for participation in, and actual participation in, True Critique Club Projects and campaigns offered by True Critique Club or our partner companies (the ‘True Critique Club Partners’), enabling you to test and evaluate products from various companies (the ‘Campaign Partners’).
Please read these Terms carefully before registering on the True Critique Club Platform, using our Services, or participating in True Critique Club Projects.

- “We”‘ “Our,” “Us,” and ‘True Critique Club’ refer to Stars and Stories Holding BV and its operated entities.
- “Member” refers to individuals enrolled in the True Critique Club community.
- “Reviewer” refers to Members selected to participate in specific True Critique Club Projects.
1.3 Membership Eligibility
To become a Member and participate in True Critique Club Projects, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are an influencer, additional terms may apply to your participation, as outlined in Section 1.4.
1.4 Special Provisions for Influencers
If you are an influencer collaborating with True Critique Club:
- You agree to adhere to all applicable laws and guidelines related to advertising and endorsements, including but not limited to the disclosure of your relationship with True Critique Club and Campaign Partners.
- You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your relationship with True Critique Club in all promotional content.
- True Critique Club may provide additional guidelines or requirements specific to influencer campaigns, which will be communicated to you and form part of these Terms.
1.5 Amendments and Updates
These Terms may be updated or amended from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or the way we operate. We will notify you of significant changes and, where required, seek your consent. Continued use of the Services after such changes will constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
1.6 Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a Member, using the True Critique Club Platform, or participating in True Critique Club Projects, you signify your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our Services.
2. Registration on True Critique Club Platform and Community Membership
2.1 Becoming a Member
To access and use the True Critique Club Platform and participate in True Critique Club Projects, you must first become a Member. Registration is simple:

- Fill out the registration form with accurate and complete information.
- Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2.2 Eligibility and Registration Conditions
- You must be at least 18 years old to register.
- Registration is free and does not obligate you to participate in any True Critique Club Projects.
- True Critique Club reserves the right to accept or decline any registration.
- Use of the True Critique Club Platform is for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
2.3 Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You may not use another Member’s account or allow others to use yours.
2.4 Account Integrity
- Provide truthful and updated information during registration and throughout your membership.
- You may not create more than one account or create an account on behalf of someone else.
- Any breach of these obligations may result in account suspension or termination.
2.5 Communication with Members
- By registering as a member, you agree to receive communications from True Critique Club. These may include information about new campaigns, surveys, updates, and other relevant news.
- We aim to keep our communications informative, relevant, and not excessive, respecting your preferences and privacy.
- You will have the option to opt-out of certain types of communications if you wish, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. General Rules for the Use of True Critique Club Platform and Services
3.1 Access and Use
All registered Members can access and use the True Critique Club Platform and Services, which include but are not limited to:
- Participating in product evaluations and studies.
- Accessing and using any tools, applications, and services provided by True Critique Club.
3.2 Compliance with Laws and Respect for Others
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Be respectful and courteous in your interactions with other Members and in your use of the Platform.
- Do not engage in any activity that infringes on the rights of others or violates these Terms.
3.3 Content Submission
- You may submit content, such as reviews, images, and comments, in accordance with our content guidelines.
- Be honest, constructive, and respectful in your reviews and submissions.
- Do not post content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.
3.4 Limitations on Use
- The True Critique Club Platform and Services are for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Do not use the Platform or Services for unauthorized or unlawful purposes.
- True Critique Club reserves the right to monitor use and enforce these Terms.
4. Participation in True Critique Club Projects
4.1 Opportunities for Members
- Registered Members can apply to participate in various True Critique Club Projects.
- Participation is voluntary and offers the chance to test and evaluate new products.
4.2 Selection for Projects
- Selection is based on specific criteria set by Campaign Partners and True Critique Club.
- Not all applicants will be selected; True Critique Club’s decision is final.
- No legal claim exists for participation in any specific project.
4.3 Responsibilities of Participants
- If selected, you agree to test and evaluate products honestly and thoroughly.
- You may be required to provide feedback, reviews, or other forms of evaluation.
- Any misuse of the products or failure to provide feedback may result in exclusion from future projects.
4.4 Product Testing and Evaluation
- Products received are for testing purposes only and must not be sold or transferred.
- You are expected to follow any specific guidelines provided for each project.
5. Data Protection and Personal Data

6. Intellectual Property and Use of Content on True Critique Club Platform
6.1 Copyright and Trademarks
- All content on the True Critique Club Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of True Critique Club or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
- Use of this content without permission is strictly prohibited.
6.2 User-Generated Content
- You may submit content such as reviews, comments, and images.
- By submitting content, you grant True Critique Club a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display this content in connection with our services.
6.3 Prohibited Use of Content
- You may not use any content from the True Critique Club Platform for commercial purposes without explicit permission.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of others when posting content on the Platform.
7. Submission of Content by Members
7.1 Ownership and Distribution of Content
- By submitting content (including reviews, images, comments, etc.) to the True Critique Club Platform, you agree that ownership of this content is transferred to True Critique Club. This transfer of ownership allows True Critique Club to use, modify, distribute, and publicly display the content in any form and through any channel
- True Critique Club reserves the right to distribute your content to our clients for their use, even if it is not published directly on the True Critique Club Platform
- This provision also applies to content created in the course of participating in True Critique Club Projects but not published directly on the True Critique Club Platform. True Critique Club retains the right to distribute such content to clients or use it for promotional or other business purposes.
- True Critique Club has the discretion to decide how and where the content is used, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives and client requirements.
7.2 Content Standards
- All content submitted must be original, accurate, and lawful, and must not infringe on the rights of others.
- Prohibited content includes anything offensive, defamatory, or promoting illegal activities.
- True Critique Club reserves the right to remove content that violates these standards.
7.3 Special Provisions for Influencers
- Influencers must clearly disclose their relationship with True Critique Club and Campaign Partners in any content they create or share as part of True Critique Club Projects.
- Influencers grant True Critique Club the right to use their name, likeness, and any content created in connection with True Critique Club Projects for promotional purposes.
- Any content created by influencers in connection with True Critique Club Projects will be owned by True Critique Club, and influencers agree not to use such content for other commercial purposes without True Critique Club’s prior written consent.
7.4 Responsibility for Content
- While True Critique Club claims ownership of content submitted to the platform, the original creator of the content is responsible for ensuring that it meets all legal and ethical standards.
- True Critique Club is not responsible for any violations of rights or laws by the content creator.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Scope of Liability
- True Critique Club is liable for damages only in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence from the side of True Critique Club.
- True Critique Club is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from your use of our platform or participation in campaigns.
- Liability for minor negligence is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations.
8.2 Limitation of Damages
- In cases where True Critique Club is liable, the extent of damages is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages.
- True Critique Club is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or data loss unless such damages are typical for the contract.
9. Termination and Modification of Membership
9.1 Termination by Member
- You may terminate your membership with True Critique Club at any time.
- Termination does not affect any ongoing obligations, such as returning test products or maintaining confidentiality.
9.2 Termination by True Critique Club
- True Critique Club may terminate your membership for any breach of these Terms.
- We will provide notice of termination where feasible.
9.3 Modifications to Terms
- True Critique Club reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
- Continued use of the platform after modifications signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 Applicable Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
- The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
10.2 Jurisdiction
- Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
- If you are a consumer residing outside the Netherlands, mandatory provisions of your country of residence will also apply.
11. General Provisions
11.1 Severability
- If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect.
11.2 Entire Agreement
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and True Critique Club regarding your use of the platform and participation in projects.
